Living just a couple blocks from Halsted and Clark, a notorious gay neighborhood, I have witnessed gay's going about their normal lives and holding hands or hugging. It is something I see regularly and put little stake in it.
There is no reason gay's should not be able to marry the ones they love. Marriage is a huge step in anyone's life. A bond supposedly forever. So why can't gay's have that same experience and lead the same life. The positives of gay marriage far out-weight the negatives and there is no reason for the union between same-sex couples to be unlawful.
